We are organizing our annual one day All Goa Seven – A – Side football tournament for the
Parish Youth. We take this opportunity to invite the Youth Group of your Parish to participate in
the tournament. It will be held on Sunday, 29 November 2009 at Nerul Sports Club ground from
10:30 am onwards. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.10000/- and the Runners-Up
will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.7000/- besides trophies. Besides, individual performances
will also be awarded.
The purpose of organizing this event is to recognize, appreciate and encourage the Parish Youth
in whatever work they do for the parish. It will also be an enriching experience for the youth
from different parishes to meet each other, live the spirit of sportsmanship and display their
talent on a common playground.

Rules and Regulations of the Tournament:
- Entry fee is Rs.500/- for each parish/team; payable at the venue.
- Participation is strictly for Parish Youth members only. Teams are requested not to field players who are not members of their respective parish youth group or whose age is above 30 years. (only Parish Youth members whose age is 30 years or less are allowed)
- The attached Entry Form should contain the names of only those youth members who are participating in the tournament.
- The Entry form must be duly signed either by the Parish Priest, Youth Animator or Youth President and stamped with the Church/Parish Youth seal. Entry Forms without the seal/stamp will not be considered.
- Reporting time is half an hour before the start of the tournament.
- Each team comprises of 10 players including 3 substitutes.
- The duration of each match will be 10 minutes (5 minutes each half and 2 minutes break).
- If a match ends in a draw, tie-breaker system will be utilized. (3:3)
- The timing & draw of the match will be intimated at the venue.
- The players should compulsorily wear shoes. (any type)
- Any player using foul or abusive language or indulging in any misbehavior during the tournament will be suspended or the team disqualified.
- The decision of the referee and linesman will be final.
- In case of any grievance on the field, the Captain should contact the referee. For Off-the–field grievances, the Captain/President should contact the organizing committee. The decision taken thereof will be final and binding in all respects.
